BRAND IMAGERY · CREATIVE DIRECTION

Build a visual world around the product.

A product image explains the item. Brand imagery also defines the setting, light, mood and point of view around a collection. We turn an approved brief into a practical visual direction before production begins.

THE BRIEF · PRODUCTION PRIORITIES

Start with the need.
Then choose the method.

Scope one hero or collection scene

Name the homepage or collection placement, the product that must lead, and whether the image introduces one sale item or a range. Supply the actual agency layout and copy/button zones. One agreed brand scene can be commissioned on its own; it does not automatically include a complete gallery or launch package.

Approve a composition the remote team can test

Before scene expansion, ask the brand and website team to review a labelled layout proof with the product area, copy zone and desktop/mobile crop marked. Decide which details must remain visible and whether a second composition is needed. Approve that framing decision, not an unspecified promise that one image fits every layout.

Keep evidence views on their own shot list

A styled room may not reveal the reverse, closure or all included pieces. List those missing views as photography tasks rather than expecting the hero to explain everything. The brand approves sale contents and product facts; the visual approver accepts the scene against that record.

FOUR APPROVAL LAYERS

Approve product truth before expanding the visual direction

A brand direction becomes easier to review when product facts, the collection system, the hero concept and channel adaptations are separate decisions.

Inputs, approvers, outputs and pause conditions for home-textile brand imagery.

FAQ

Before you start

Is this a logo or brand-identity service?

The default scope covers visual direction and production assets. Naming, logo design and full brand strategy require a separate agreement.

Can one direction cover several SKUs?

That is often the purpose: define a shared visual system, then plan each product within it. Choose representative light, dark, patterned and differently constructed items where those differences occur in your range. Review whether the same background, light, styling and crop keep each product readable. Record what stays shared and which items need a different prop, arrangement or detail view. A direction approval does not authorize recoloring the product or removing a real feature to make the series match.

Can photography and AI be combined?

Yes, when the brief and product-accuracy risks support a mixed method. Every AI-assisted output is disclosed.

What should we send first?

Send one representative product or SKU, the collection it belongs to, the audience and the first placement the key visual must serve. For each reference, identify what you want to borrow: lighting, palette, room mood, composition or space for copy. Add approved brand assets, product details that must remain visible and one direction to avoid. Reference images guide an agreed scene; they are not instructions to copy another product, logo or campaign.

PROJECT DECISIONS · CHANGES AND RELEASE

Classify a direction change before revising the whole collection

Use the approved direction proof as a reference for feedback. Identify whether a request corrects an agreed choice, changes the visual system or requires new product evidence before applying it across every SKU.
